EMILY ADOMAH is a singer, composer, and producer based between her hometown of Bergen, Norway and Basel, Switzerland. She holds a degree in classical singing from the Norwegian Academy of Music and works across contemporary music, experimental sound, electronic production, and sound art. At the core of her practice is the voice as an instrument, explored in dialogue with electronics, acoustic materials, and field recordings.

Adomah composes for concert settings as well as for film, dance, and theatre. She creates site-specific sound works that investigate the relationship between sound, space, and human perception. In 2024, she composed a commissioned sound work for EKKO as part of the sound art series Sense of Place. She has collaborated with Bergen Kunsthall, Lydgalleriet, Kunsthall 3.14, and BEK—Bergen Centre for Electronic Arts, and has performed at festivals including The Borealis Festival, VoxLab and The Ultima Festival.

In the winter of 2024/2025, she appeared as a soloist in Julia & Romeo at Theatre Basel, marking her debut on an international stage of that scale. In autumn 2025, she was the composer and sound designer for Sukker at Det Norske Teatret in Oslo, which received critical acclaim. She continues to compose for theatre in 2026 with projects such as Hekken at Det Vestnorske Teateret, an inclusive sensory theatre experience for children.

She is currently completing a master’s degree in Open Creation at the Musik-Akademie Basel, specialising in contemporary performance, audio design and improvisation under the guidance of Sarah Maria Sun, Svetlana Maras and Andrea Neumann. Since January, she has been selected to be part of ArtEx (2026/2027), a Norwegian talent development program run by Talent Norway.
